Criteria for a new citation version of a protocol: Major change

A protocol should be classified as a new citation version with major change if there has been an important change to the objectives or scope of the proposed review, usually through a change to the criteria for including studies. Such protocols will be highlighted in the CDSR as 'Major change' upon next publication.

 

Criteria for a new citation version of a protocol: No major change

A protocol should be classified as a new citation version with no major change if there has been an important change to the review team. Such protocols will not be highlighted in the CDSR.
