Guidelines specific to conducting reviews of public health and health promotion interventions were developed by the Cochrane Health Promotion and Public Health (HPPH) Field (now transitioned to the Cochrane Public Health Review Group) in 2005 and updated in 2007. This chapter provides an overview of issues specific to health promotion and public health not discussed elsewhere in the Handbook.
