In future studies, cost savings should be calculated and balanced against the potential costs of the intervention...The question of whether cost effective services can be delivered is a critical question for today’s healthcare environment. Thus studies that measure the costs as well as the effects of pharmacist interventions are needed.” (Beney 2000).
